Avaya IP Office 500 Extension Card Phone 8
This card is used to add analog phone extension ports to the IP500 control unit. It is available in two variants, providing either 2 or 8 analog extension ports.\r\n\r\nThe cards have 8 RJ45 extension ports (1 to 8) for use with analog phone devices. A further 4 RJ45 ports (9 to 12) are provided for trunk connections when an IP500 trunk daughter card is fitted to this card.\r\n\r\nProvides either 8 or 2 analog phone ports depending on card variant:\r\n?\tSupports ICLID modes DTMFA, DTMFC, DTMFD, FSK and UK20.\r\n?\tREN 2 (1 for external bell device).\r\n?\tOff-Hook current: 25mA.\r\n?\tRing Voltage: 40V.\r\n?\tThe Analog Phone 8 provides a power fail port when fitted with an IP500 Analog Trunk daughter card. During power failure extension port 8 is connected to the analog trunk port 12.\r\n?\tIntended for connection to two-wire analog phones, the ports do not include a ringing capacitor. For connection to 4-wire analog phones, connection should be via a master socket with ringing capacitors.
