With industry-leading performance for the most demanding applications, Summit48si has a non-blocking architecture with 17.5 gigabits of throughput with wire-speed performance on every port.\r\n\r\nThe Summit48si switch provides comprehensive edge security features such as MAC address security which allows identifying port abuse such as rogue wireless access points or hubs/switches on edge ports. It also provides Web- and MAC-based Network Login does not require any specific client software as well as IEEE 802.1x based authentication. Every user on every port can be authenticated so the network can be protected at the most sensitive point of attack?at the edge.\r\n\r\nMultiple Supplicant (client) allows multiple clients to be individually authenticated on the same port. Summit48si series switches have wire-speed Layer 2-4 Access Control Lists (ACLs) on every port to maximize security while maintaining throughput.\r\n\r\n- Quality of Service (QoS)\r\n- Ethernet Automatic Protection Switching (EAPS) resiliency protocol\r\n- Minimized Latency\r\n- Non-Blocking Forwarding\r\n- Network Login (MAC, HTTP and 802.1x) with multiple supplicant\r\n- Hardened network infrastructure
